The Washington Wizards played their best game of the 2012-2013 season on Monday night, and the win over the Orlando Magic did not lack for highlight reel plays.
Wizards point guard John Wall loked great in his second game back from a knee injury, although Magic guard Ish Smith showed the first flash of tremendous athleticsim early in the second quarter. With Wall in position in the lane, Smith jumped clear over Wall's head, only to recover and block Wall's layup attempt.
Later in the game, Wall turned the tables on Smith. With a commanding lead, Wall drove the lane, suddenly switching directions and delivering a behind-the-back crossover dribble that left Ish Smith reeling. Smith fell to the ground as Wall flew by, dishing to Kevin Seraphin for the dunk.
On a three-game winning streak, and with John Wall making electric plays, excitement has returned to Wizards basketball.
