SARASOTA, Fla. – Alfredo Aceves is leaving the Orioles for a few days to return to Mexico. Aceves must obtain a visa, and will be out of camp for several days.

Manager Buck Showalter estimates Aceves will be out of camp for five or six days.

Aceves pitched winter ball, and he’s in good shape, so Showalter isn’t afraid of him missing any time.

NOTES: Liam Hendriks, who the Orioles designated for assignment on Wednesday, was claimed on waivers by Toronto.
