This isnt good timing for the Orioles.
Just as they start a three-game series with the Blue Jays, Toronto slugger Jose Bautista has returned from an extended stay on the disabled list with a strained wrist. The Toronto Sun reports Bautista will be in the lineup on Friday when the Jays play in Baltimore.
Bautista had a one-game rehab assignment in the minors on Thursday night with Double-A New Hampshire and hit two homers in five plate appearances.
Bautista last played a major-league game on July 16. He has 27 homers and 65 RBIs in 90 games this year. However, in nine games against the Orioles in 2012, Bautista has struggled, hitting .161 with no homers or RBIs in 37 plate appearances.
