BALTIMORE – The Orioles have been very cautious with Dylan Bundy. He’s yet to make an appearance on the mound this week. Bundy was shut down early this month with tightness in his elbow.

He’s pain-free, and the Orioles think that soon he’ll be pitching again. On Monday, he’s supposed to throw from 75-90 feet at extended spring training in Sarasota, Fla.

“They've just been doing some stuff to make sure it doesn't occur again, hopefully," manager Buck Showalter said. "He's going to be on the mound mid to the end of next week, I think.”

NOTES: Travis Ishikawa, who signed a minor league contract with the Orioles last winter, and is Norfolk’s first baseman, broke his nose trying to break up a double play on Saturday night.
