Dickerson to hold E-waste recycling event

BALTIMORE — Chris Dickerson, whose Players for the Planet organization was profiled here last week, has announced that several Orioles will join him for a recycling event next month.

Adam Jones, Jim Johnson, Brian Matusz, Nolan Reimold and Chris Tillman are also participating with Dickerson in an E-Waste recycling event on Aug. 16-18.

Fans are encouraged to bring their old electronics to AT&T Hanover. A limited number of fans will receive two reserved tickets to a future Orioles game. Items accepted include televisions, radios, VCRs, computer monitors, personal computers and hard drives. The event will be held at AT&T Hanover, 7229 Parkway Drive, Hanover, Maryland 21076 on Aug. 16 from 7-5 pm, Aug. 17 from 9-5 pm and Aug. 18 from 10-2 p.m.
