TONIGHT’S GAME:

Baltimore Orioles (73-65) vs. Chicago White Sox (56-82), Oriole Park, 7:05 p.m.

STARTING PITCHERS:

Miguel Gonzalez (8-7, 4.11) vs. Jose Quintana (7-5, 3.69)

KEYS TO THE GAME:

Gonzalez hasn’t won in his last six starts. He’s starting on five days rest, and generally pitches better the more he rests.

Chicago has lost six straight and has the third worst record in the majors. The Orioles need to take advantage of the White Sox.

NEWS AND NOTES:

The Orioles first reached eight games over .500 on May 8, and have never been more than 14 over. Since July 22, they’re 16-22.

Gonzalez has never faced the White Sox.

The Orioles lost two of three to the White Sox in July.
