CHICAGO – It’s been a week since Manny Machado injured his right knee. Machado spent much of Monday’s pregame getting treatment.

Machado isn’t definite that there’s been any improvement since he was diagnosed with the sprained knee.

“I guess. We won’t know until later on. It needs to heal up on its own. Time will just tell. Do what I could. Getting treatment every day, getting my leg exercises. Hopefully we’ll see some progression soon,” Machado said.

Machado could be activated as early as Aug. 27.
