Nelson Cruz had a quiet performance at the 2014 All-Star Game, going 0-for-2 at the plate, including a strikeout.

But what makes up for a less-than-stellar outing in the Mid-Summer Classic? Snapping a few self-shot photos of yourself with you All-Star teammates. That's what Cruz did, as captured by the Associated Press.

Maybe there were some technical difficulties there. Let's take another.

But it doesn't end there. Taking at look at his Twitter timeline, the guy went on a selfie spree. Anyone willing to hop into the frame, Cruz was willing to snap.

The only thing more dangerous than Nelson Cruz with a baseball bat is Nelson Cruz with a front-facing camera

But wait. There's more. Look how happy Yu Darvish is to be a part of this.

And it wouldn't be complete without one final photo with a retiring Yankees star.

Well done, Nelson.
