The Arizona Fall League is in its final week, and the Mesa Solar Sox, which the Orioles helped supply, is the league’s hottest.

The Solar Sox entered Monday’s game with Phoenix on a four-game winning streak, but they still have the worst record in the AFL, at 10-16.

It’s been a mixed record for the team’s leading prospects.

L.J. Hoes and Jonathan Schoop have hit well.

Hoes, an outfielder from Mitchellville, Md., who played briefly with the Orioles at the end of the season, is hitting .279 with eight RBIs in 18 games,

Schoop, an Aruban born infielder, who played for Bowie in 2012, is batting .270 with two home runs and 10 RBIs in 21 games.

Mike Belfiore, a left-handed reliever, has a 1-1 record with a save and a 3.97 ERA. In six starts, Mike Wright, a third-round pick in the 2011 draft, who advanced to Bowie, is 0-4 with a 6.88 ERA.

Regular season play ends Thursday.
