The team’s television ratings are up 50 percent, and according to Major League Baseball, the telecasts beat Baltimore broadcast station prime averages in important demographics in both the second and third quarter this season.
The game’s ratings are on pace for the best rating since statistics began being kept in 2001.
The team’s merchandise sales are up a robust 89 percent, which is the largest gain in the major leagues.
