Tonight’s Game:

Baltimore Orioles (81-75) vs. Toronto Blue Jays (71-85), Oriole Park, 7:05 p.m.

Starting pitchers:

Chris Tillman (16-7, 3.70) vs. Todd Redmond (4-2, 3.82)

Keys to the Game:

Life without Manny Machado begins for the Orioles. He’ll have an MRI today to find out how serious the damage is to his left knee.

Their playoff hopes gone, the Orioles will try to string together some wins against a team long since out of the chase.

News and Notes:

The Orioles have lost five straight, one short of their season high.

They’re six games over .500 for the first time since June 8.

Ryan Flaherty, Danny Valencia, Jonathan Schoop and Michael Morse could be candidates to play third base in Machado’s absence. Morse has played nine games there in the majors.

Tillman is 3-3 with a 4.18 ERA in nine starts against the Blue Jays.
