Tonight's Game:

Baltimore Orioles (79-70) vs. Boston Red Sox (92-59) 7:10 p.m. Fenway Park

Starting pitchers:

Scott Feldman (5-4, 3.62) vs. Ryan Dempster (8-9, 4.70)

Keys to the game:

Still missing Darren O’Day, who could rejoin the team on Friday, Feldman’s ability to eat innings is helpful. He’s pitched seven or more in his last three starts.

The Orioles haven’t scored more than five runs in their last 13 games. More runs against the Red Sox will be needed.

News and Notes:

This is only Feldman’s third appearance at Fenway Park. He’s allowed 12 runs, six of them unearned on 10 hits in four innings there.

Mike Napoli is 11-for-26 (.423) against Feldman.

The Orioles will begin play trailing Texas by 2 games in the chase for the second Wild Card spot.

Steve Pearce, who has been on the disabled list with tendinitis in his left wrist, could rejoin the Orioles on Tuesday.
