BALTIMORE – Miguel Gonzalez is set to come off the disabled list. It could be anytime between Sunday and Wednesday. For now, manager Buck Showalter prefers that Gonzalez, who is on the DL with a strained right oblique starts on Tuesday at Tampa Bay.

Wei-Yin Chen is scheduled to start on Monday and Kevin Gausman on Wednesday, but if the bullpen is used heavily on Saturday, Gonzalez could be activated and be in the pen on Sunday.

Sunday’s game could also affect Showalter’s plans, too. The Orioles are off on Thursday.

“See how the next two days go and see what the post off day brings,” Showalter said. “Right now, I haven’t considered skipping anybody.”

NOTE: Showalter is excited that Dylan Bundy will start on Sunday for Aberdeen at Hudson Valley.

“I’m not sure what happens after that,” Showalter said.
