It’s all right. You’ll only have to wait 122 more days until pitchers and catchers report to spring training. Orioles pitchers and catchers report to the Ed Smith Stadium Complex in Sarasota, Fla. on Feb. 13. They’ll have their first workouts the next day.

Position players are to report by Feb. 18, though most are likely to have reported before then. The first full squad workout will be on Feb. 19, and the first exhibition game is Feb. 28 at Port Charlotte, Fla. against Tampa Bay. The Orioles’ first home exhibition game is Mar. 1 against Toronto.

The season opens on Mar. 31 at Oriole Park against Boston.

NOTES: Chris Davis finished second in The Sporting News’ voting for Player of the Year. Detroit’s Miguel Cabrera received 141 votes from player ballots. Davis received 35.

Los Angeles’ Mike Trout got nine, and two National Leaguers’ the Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw and Pittsburgh’s Andrew McCutchen got eight.
