TODAY’S GAME:

Baltimore Orioles (71-63) vs. New York Yankees (72-63), Yankee Stadium, 1:05 p.m.

STARTING PITCHERS:

Wei-Yin Chen (7-7, 3.76) vs. Andy Pettitte (10-9, 4.05)

KEYS TO THE GAME:

The Orioles are 4 ½ games out of the Wild Card, and have lost four of five on their roadtrip. A sweep at Yankee Stadium would be disastrous.

Chen allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings on Tuesday in Boston. He’s won just one of five starts.

NEWS AND NOTES:

Pettitte is 28-6 vs. the Orioles, and is 12-2 with a 2.81 ERA at Yankee Stadium.

Only Whitey Ford (30) has more wins than Pettitte against the Orioles.

The Orioles are expected to add at least one player to the roster from Norfolk for the game.

The Orioles were held to three hits or fewer for the sixth time on Saturday.
