Today's Game:

Baltimore Orioles (78-70) vs. Toronto Blue Jays (68-80) 1:07 p.m. Rogers Centre

Starting pitchers:

Miguel Gonzalez (9-7, 4.00) vs. Mark Buehrle (11-8, 4.18)

Keys to the game:

After Chris Tillman suffered a crushing defeat on Saturday, it’s vital for the Orioles to take two of three against the Blue Jays.

Gonzalez has won just one of his last eight starts. He needs to change that.

News and Notes:

The Orioles have lost five of eight in Toronto this season and haven’t won a season series there since 2005.

Buehrle is 7-6 with a 3.28 ERA in 19 games against the Orioles.

Nick Markakis is a lifetime .412 batter against Buehrle (14-for-34). Adam Jones is 7-for-19.

Edwin Encarnacion is just 2-for-14 against Gonzalez, but both hits were home runs. Colby Rasmus, who has homered the last two games, is 1-for-12 against Gonzalez. Adam Lind is 6-for-13.
