TONIGHT’S GAME:

Baltimore Orioles (70-61) vs. Boston Red Sox (79-55), Fenway Park, 7:10 p.m.

STARTING PITCHERS:

Chris Tillman (14-4, 3.66) vs. Jon Lester (12-7, 3.97)

KEYS TO THE GAME:

The Orioles’ offense needs to get going. They have five runs on 11 hits in the first two losses in Boston.

Since the All-Star break, the Orioles are 17-18. With seven games left on a difficult road trip to Boston, New York and Cleveland, they have to start winning now.

NEWS AND NOTES:

Lester is 15-2 with a 2.72 ERA against the Orioles. He won his first 14 decisions against them, lost two, then won his last one.

Matt Wieters is a .359 hitter (14-for-39) against Lester. Chris Davis is just 2-for-19.

Tillman has started three times at Fenway Park, but has no decisions. He has an excellent 1.65 ERA there.

Brian Roberts had his second stolen base since returning from his hamstring injury in late June. He also was thrown out for the first time.
