With nearly four months before spring training begins, the Orioles have announced their spring training schedule.
The Orioles' first game will be against Tampa Bay at Port Charlotte, Fla. on Feb. 28. Their home opener is Mar. 1 against Toronto.
They'll play 30 games--15 each at home and on the road.
Seventeen of their games will be against American League East teams: Boston, Tampa Bay, New York and Toronto. They'll play the Red Sox and Rays six times, the Yankees three times and the Blue Jays twice.
The Orioles will play Minnesota five times and the neighboring Pittsburgh Pirates four times. They play Philadelphia three games and Atlanta once.
There will be three split-squad games including a home-and-home with the Red Sox on March 8.
The Orioles are expected to report to Sarasota, Fla. around Feb. 13 and will probably end spring training with a game at Norfolk.
