Tonight’s Game:

Baltimore Orioles (46-36) vs. New York Yankees (42-38) 8:05 p.m. Oriole Park

Starting pitchers:

Chris Tillman (9-2, 3.72) vs. Hiroki Kuroda (7-5) 2.77

Keys to the game:

Tillman, who has won six straight, is 2-3 with an 8.16 ERA against the Yankees, but Zach Britton had a 7.82 ERA in his previous starts and held New York to one earned run in 5 2/3 innings.

Kuroda pitched a five-hit shutout against the Orioles on Apr. 14. The Orioles plan on doing better on Sunday night.

News and Notes:

Chris Davis’ 30 home runs would have led the team for an entire season in 34 of the team’s 59 previous seasons in Baltimore. It would have tied in two other seasons.

Brian Roberts is expected to be activated from the disabled list. It’s possible that Jair Jurrjens, who was the long man on Saturday, will be optioned to Norfolk.

In his first 123 major league games, Ryan Flaherty had seven multi-hit games. Flaherty has six games of two or more hits in his last eight.

The Orioles have won four straight games against the Yankees at home. That’s their longest streak since a 10-game run that stretched from Oct. 3, 1981-June 21, 1983.
