Tillman trying to give Orioles second win against Toronto
September 14, 2013, 2:00 pm

Has Manny Machado hit a speed bump?

Today's Game:

Baltimore Orioles (78-69) vs. Toronto Blue Jays (67-80) 7:07 p.m. Rogers Centre

Starting pitchers:

Chris Tillman (16-5, 3.66) vs. Esmil Rogers (5-7, 4.66)

Keys to the game:

Trying for his 17th win, Tillman is attempting to exceed his won total prior to 2012. He’s been the Orioles’ stopper.

Chris Davis and Adam Jones seems to come up big against the Blue Jays. They’ve combined for 30 homeruns when playing Toronto since the start of the 2012 season.

News and Notes:

The Orioles will begin play trailing Tampa Bay by 2 ½ games in the chase for the second Wild Card spot.

Tillman is 1-2 with a 5.08 ERA in five starts in Toronto.

Danny Valencia, who is in the lineup against the right-handed Rogers, is batting .522 in his last 13 games.

Michael Morse, who is not in the lineup is in an 0-for-16 slump.
