Ravens defensive tackle Arthur Jones will go through the NFL concussion protocol, after leaving Sunday’s game with a head injury. While it was a difficult day for Jones, his brother, Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones, was pleased to leave M & T Bank Stadium with a win.

“Despite my brother getting banged up a little bit, it felt good to get a win over them,” Chandler said. “After losing to them early last season and in the playoffs, getting a chance to beat these guys on their home turf was a good feeling.”

Jones’ injury seemed to be the most serious suffered by the Ravens on Sunday. Linebacker Daryl Smith returned to the game after being shaken up.

“I just got my Achilles stepped on and I’m OK,” Smith said.

Wide receiver Marlon Brown took a hard hit from Patriots safety Steve Gregory after making a catch in the second half, but Brown also returned.

“It was a crossing route, and I got my hands on (the ball) and was able to turn up field,” Brown said. “Trying to make a couple more yards, he hit me solid and made a good play.”
