Corey Graham is happy to be a Raven and Ravens are happy to have him
The return of Lardarius Webb is one of the things those following the Ravens are really wondering about-- and Webb's kind of curious also.
Webb missed rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in Week 6. He was truly developing into a top-level cornerback, a real play-maker who helped the Baltimore defense on a regular basis.
The big question for Webb in 2013 is can he find his old form? Will he have the speed, quickness and cutting ability that a good corner needs? One thing is for sure, Webb's certainly fired up to do it.
A difficult part of the injury and what happened after it was that he had to stand on the side and watch as the Ravens won the Super Bowl. He wants to help the Ravens return to the big game and be a part of it.
"This has motivated me to want to come back here again," Webb said before the Super Bowl in an article in USA TODAY. "To look and see this Super Bowl and get this feeling and not get to actually step foot on the field is going to be motivation for the rest of my career to always get back here. It's something that is always going to be that extra chip on my shoulder."
The Ravens will be depending upon him this season. If he can get back to his old form and keep improving, then Webb is on track to become an elite NFL cornerback, something that is going to help the defense fare even better.
