Wide receiver Brandon Stokley has been placed on season ending injured reserve Tuesday, after suffering a concussion in Sunday's game against the Vikings. Stokley has a long history of concussions, with more than a dozen during his career.

At age 37, Stokley’s future in the NFL is certainly in doubt. He had 13 receptions for 115 yards in six games this season, but was hampered a groin injury during much of the season.

Running back Bernard Scott was signed to take Stokley’s place on the roster. Scott had been cut Saturday when tight end Dennis Pitta was activated.
