Harbaugh on next year's improvements

Getting ready to watch the Gator Bowl at noon on New Year's Day? Here is one prospect you should be looking for and how he could fit as a future Raven.

What: Gator Bowl

Who: Nebraska vs. Georgia

When: Wednesday, noon, ESPN

Player to watch: Arthur Lynch | TE | Georgia

Why he fits: The Ravens’ two two tight ends will be free agents - Dennis Pitta and Ed Dickson. Dallas Clark barely played down the stretch and is not expected back. Even if the Ravens bring back Pitta, as they hope, both Dickson and Clark could be gone, and the Ravens will have their eyes open for athletic, pass-catching tight ends. At 6-foot-5, 260 pounds, Lynch fits that bill. He is not viewed as a dominant NFL tight end, but he is someone who could be a backup tight end, and give the Ravens more options to run two tight-end sets. Lynch has caught 24 passes this season for 390 yards and five touchdowns.
