Jim Hostler has departed as Ravens wide receiver coach to become the Bills’ senior offensive assistant, the Bills announced on Wednesday. Hostler leaving the Ravens was not a surprise. He was a finalist for the offensive coordinator job that went to Gary Kubiak on Monday. Hostler and Kubiak working together could have been a potentially awkward situation.
Hostler had spent six seasons as the Ravens’ wide receivers coach. Not only must the Ravens replace Hostler, they are still looking for a running backs coach to replace Wilbert Montgomery, who was fired after the season.
