How many Pro Bowl players will the Ravens have in 2014? A Pro Bowl selection is not always an accurate measure of a player’s season; however, the Ravens have a number of players who've made a habit of making the Pro Bowl.
Last season, the Ravens sent four players to the Pro Bowl, and three of them had already gone multiple times. Linebacker Terrell Suggs made his sixth Pro Bowl. Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata made it for the fourth time. Guard Marshal Yanda made it for the third time. The lone first-time Pro Bowler for the Ravens was kicker Justin Tucker.
Will Ngata, Suggs, Tucker and Yanda all return to the Pro Bowl next season? Meanwhile, the Ravens have other potential Pro Bowlers, including:
Elvis Dumervil, LB - If he gets a dozen or more sacks, he’ll get strong consideration.
Jimmy Smith, CB – He has all the tools -- size, speed, and instincts -- and now he’s playing with confidence.
Lardarius Webb, CB – Fully recovered from his 2012 knee injury, Webb is a strong one-on-one defender in his prime.
What about wide receivers Torrey Smith and Steve Smith, quarterback Joe Flacco, left tackle Eugene Monroe, tight end Dennis Pitta, running back Ray Rice, or guard Kelechi Osemele? Perhaps you like another player’s chances?
