Receiver Jacoby Jones and cornerback Chris Johnson didn’t practice for the Ravens on Wednesday, but defensive linemen Terrence Cody and Pernell McPhee had limited participation going into Sunday’s game at the San Diego Chargers.

McPhee (knee) has missed the last three games and Cody (elbow) sat out the 13-10 win vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.

Also taking limited snaps were linebackers Terrell Suggs (shoulder/ankle) and Dannell Ellerbe (toe/thumb), safeties Ed Reed (shoulder), James Ihedigbo (neck) and Bernard Pollard (chest), tight ends Dennis Pitta (head) and Ed Dickson (neck) and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (shoulder).

Linebackers Brendon Ayanbadejo (shoulder) and Courtney Upshaw (shoulder) and right guard Marshal Yanda (ankle) fully participated.

Jones (ankle) returned a punt 63 yards for the Ravens' only touchdown at Pittsburgh. He had a sore ankle last week, too. Johnson, acquired only a week ago after Jimmy Smith went down because of groin surgery, strained his hamstring in the second quarter after forcing the Steelers into a turnover.

Johnson said after the game his injury wasn't serious, attributing it to being a free agent and inactive all season, and he will play against San Diego.

The Chargers held out six players from practice, including starting left guard Tyronne Green (hamstring) and left tackle Jared Gaither (groin). Gaither is an ex-Raven.  Starting right guard Louis Vasquez (ankle) fully participated.

Safety Atari Bigby (shoulder) had limited participation for the Chargers.
