Jacoby Jones is on such a roll right now that he's drawing loud ovations with the Orioles also.
Jones threw out the ceremonial first pitch before Saturday's Orioles-Red Sox contest at Camden Yards. He made a good throw and got some big cheers from the big crowd before the third game of this series.
The wide receiver stood at the mound wearing an Orioles jersey, ready to pitch to outfielder Adam Jones at home plate. Jacoby Jones then got the crowd into it by doing a little dance before he threw.
Jones has gotten nationally known in recent weeks for appearing on "Dancing With The Stars" after playing a key role in the Ravens' Super Bowl victory over the 4934s in early February.
After his dance step at the mound, Jones went into an exaggerated pitcher's set -- as if a runner was on base -- and made a good throw to Adam Jones. That drew another cheer from the crowd.
No matter what he touches these days, Jacoby Jones certainly seems to be on a roll. Now, he'll probably want to keep that up in 2013 as the Ravens likely will give him a chance to do more on offense.
