Next season’s Ravens schedule already is set, to an extent. They know whom and where they’re playing, just not when yet.

In addition to the two games against each member of the AFC North, the Ravens — like the rest of the division — will also face the teams in the AFC East and NFC North. In addition, as the winner of their division, the Ravens take on the other division champs from the AFC, the Texans (home) and Broncos (away).

The Ravens can hope the schedule-makers are kind when it comes to their road games. Early-season trips to Buffalo, Chicago and Denver would be preferable, as would a December visit to Miami. (The Ravens also face a road game with the Lions, but their stadium has a roof, so the weather won’t matter.)

Ravens fans will get to see the dancing feet of Adrian Peterson when the Vikings visit M&T Bank Stadium, along with the passing mastery of the Patriots’ Tom Brady and the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers on their trips to Baltimore. And they can boo or cheer the reappearance of Rex Ryan on the sideline — assuming he still has a job — when his Jets come to town.

Not counting something happening to Ryan, next season the Ravens will face three teams with new coaches.
