You've probably seen the memorable Dr. Pepper ad featuring Justin Tucker blasting a football through the darkened Hippodrome.
Now Tucker's at it again, kicking balls around another Baltimore landmark -- this time Pimlico Race Course.
In a humorous spot to help promote the 139th Preakness Stakes -- to be held at Old Hilltop on May 17 -- Tucker blasts a couple of trick shots through the teller windows, juggles a football with his feet in the paddock area, and draws the ire of the crack Pimlico security guard who is ostensibly trying to stop him.
Oh, and what's this? It seems security has had enough of Tucker's antics and forced him to relinquish his four infield tickets -- which fans have a chance to win by submitting a creative picture or video to the Preakness InfieldFest Instagram @Infieldfest, using #Shameless4IFF.
"“The Preakness last year was a total blast,” said Tucker in a statement. “It is not just a race, it is a big party. There are a lot of different things going on from the infield to the grandstand. It was definitely fun to be a part of.”
According to a news release, the spot is just the first in a series of social media commercials that Tucker had a hand in -- or more accurately, a foot in -- leading up to the Preakness in May.
Maryland Jockey Club president Tom Chuckas said in a statement: "Justin was gracious enough to help us promote Preakness and he really had fun," Maryland Jockey Club president Tom Chuckas said in a statement. "We look forward to having Justin and many of his Ravens teammates out here next month to enjoy the day.”
