Ravens react to Cam Cameron's dismissal

The Ravens have lost yet another starting linebacker going into Sunday’s game vs. the Denver Broncos.

Coach John Harbaugh said Jameel McClain (neck) is out. McClain injured himself in the third quarter of Sunday’s 31-28 overtime loss to the Washington Redskins.

“We’re taking a look at the neck/back,” coach John Harbaugh said. “Nothing major there but he will not make it to this game and we’re going to do some more tests and things like that just to see, down the road, where he will be.”

McClain was making a tackle of running back Alfred Morris and had to leave the game as he stayed on the field

The Ravens already are without linebackers Terrell Suggs (biceps), Ray Lewis (triceps) and Dannell Ellerbe (ankle).

Ellerbe, who has missed the last two games, said he’ll practice Friday and will know if he can play vs. Denver.

Lewis is eligible to return from the injured list and Suggs, who missed the Redskins game, is still to be determined.

With cornerback Asa Jackson suspended by the NFL for four games because of violating the performance enhancing substances policy, the Ravens have called up safety Omar Brown from the practice squad.
