Neither defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (knee) nor wide receiver Marlon Brown (knee) will play Sunday against the Bears. Both players were on the Ravens inactive list that also included safety Omar Brown, running back Bernard Scott, wide receiver Brandon Stokley, center Ryan Jensen, and linebacker John Simon.

Ngata injured his knee during last week’s game against the Bengals. Even though he returned to that game, the injury bothered him throughout the week, and he only practiced Friday on a limited basis. Brown was added to the injury report Friday, and he was limping during pre-game warmups.

Without Ngata, the Ravens will rely on Arthur Jones, Chris Canty, DeAngelo Tyson, Brandon Williams, and Terrence Cody on the defensive line. Jones and Tyson both had excellent games against the Bengals last week.

Without Brown and Stokley, the Ravens will only dress four wide receivers – Torrey Smith, Jacoby Jones, Tandon Doss, and Deonte Thompson. However, it was good news for the Ravens that cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb were active. Both have been bothered by hamstring injuries.
