Torrey Smith on what Ravens need to do to beat Bengals
The Bengals will be without their top two tight ends, Tyler Eifert (neck) and Jermaine Gresham (hamstring) against the Ravens on Sunday. Both were listed as inactive.
Meanwhile, Ravens defensive tackle Arthur Jones (concussion) was also inactive, but Elvis Dumervil (ankle), Ray Rice (thigh), Torrey Smith (thigh), and Gino Gradkowski (knee) were all active. All had been listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.
Having already made the playoffs, the Bengals (10-5) have more luxury to rest injured players, even though their playoff seeding has yet to be determined. Without Gresham and Eifert, the Bengals may rely on three wide receiver formations featuring A. J. Green, Mohamed Sanu, and Marvin Jones. Alex Smith and H-back Orson Charles would be available to play tight end.
The Ravens will miss Jones, who is having his best season. Haloti Ngata may play more snaps than normal, with Terrence Cody and Brandon Williams also available in the defensive tackle rotation.
