Ravens cut Huff, Spears
Call him “Reggae” Ngata.
As passed along by BaltimoreRavens.com, Haloti Ngata took to the stage to sing at the Haloti Ngata Family Foundation Luau on Tuesday night.
Though we have but a short clip as evidence, teammate Arthur Jones obviously was impressed, posting, “I didn't know my boy could sing.” Ngata performed “Stir It Up,” a Bob Marley song that was a hit for Johnny Nash.
But we need to hear more, much more. Like a whole album of Ngata performing reggae. Imagine him singing, “The harder they come, the harder they fall, one and all.” Isn’t that a perfect lyric for an NFL defensive lineman?
Ngata’s luau was a success. The event raised $50,000 for the Johns Hopkins Diabetes Center.
