Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (5) and running back Ray Rice (27) celebrate a touchdown catch by wide receiver Torrey Smith (not pictured) in the third quarter during the 2011 AFC Championship game at Gillette Stadium.
(Mark L. Baer-USA TODAY Sports)When news broke that Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens agreed in principle to a new six-year, $120 million contract many of Flacco's teammates took to Twitter to congratulate the Super Bowl MVP quarterback.
Ray Rice, Flacco's partner in the backfield and a frequent supporter of the quarterback, might have had the best line for Flacco. Rice made it clear the QB would be on the hook for some meals in the future.
Dinner and a few nights on Joe Flacco when we get back well deserved #Ravens

Wide reciever Torrey Smith was not to be outdone in the world of social media. Smith offered congratulations to Flacco, but also shared a doctored up photo of the soon-to-be very rich pocket passer.

It wasn't only the skill players that wished Flacco well. Vetern offensive lineman Bryant McKinnie kept it simple.

Flacco's contract made waves beyond just his Ravens teammates. ESPN business reporter Darren Rovell, as he is wont to do, broke down what Flacco's new contract means on a daily basis.
Based on @adamschefter’s report of $120.6M, Joe Flacco will make an avg of $168,908 each day of the season for 6 years.
