The Ravens public relations department has won the Pete Rozelle Award from the Professional Football Writers Association.
The award, announced on Friday, is given to the NFL team public relations staff that consistently strives for excellence. It is the second time in three years that the Ravens’ public relations department has won the award. The Ravens also won in 2011.
Kevin Byrne (senior vice president of public and community relations) leads the Ravens’ public relations staff, assisted by Chad Steele (director of media relations); Patrick Gleason (public/media relations manager); Tom Valente (public relations coordinator); Karen McGee (media services coordinator); Marisol Renner (publications and public relations specialist); and interns Billy Jones and Allie LeClair.
