What did the Ravens do with their offensive (and special teams) explosion of 55 points on Sunday? It was a “hey, look at us” moment, and now they must be ready to back it up.

Ravens safety Bernard Pollard said the double-nickel will catch other teams’ attention.

“When you put that on the scoreboard,” he said, “you put a target on your back.”

Pollard’s teammate in the secondary, cornerback Cary Williams, said he will let the satisfaction of the big victory sit with him for, well, not too long.

“We got 24 hours,” he said. “I’m going to enjoy it tonight, enjoy it tomorrow.”

Then?

“And then we’re going to make those corrections,” Williams said. “… We still have some little things to work on. We still have some kinks, and we’re going to get those things shored up.”

Though Williams said he was going to enjoy Sunday’s win for a day, he sounded as if he were already focused on next week’s game against the archrival Steelers.

“Chomping at the bit,” he said. “It’s the opportunity of a lifetime to go out there perform and play at a high level. …

“We don’t like them. They don’t like us. It’s going to be hell out there.”
