Defensive tackle Terrence Cody has re-signed with the Ravens, the team announced Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was likely a one-year deal.

Cody was a second-round Ravens draft pick in 2010, but has yet to realize his potential in four seasons with the Ravens. He started all 16 games in 2011, but lost his starting job in 2012.

Cody started just one game last season, was active for 12 games, and made just 15 tackles. However, the Ravens need defensive line depth after losing Arthur Jones to the Colts in free agency. Cody will be given an opportunity for more playing time, but he must earn it during the offseason and training camp.
