You knew Ray Lewis is a defensive artist. But it turns out the Ravens Hall of Fame-bound linebacker has an artistic bent with a camera, too.

Some of Lewis’ photographs that make up his “Sun Diaries” went on display at Maryland Art Place at Powerplant Live. These are sunrise and sunset photos taken at his home in Boca Raton, Fla.

"Sunrises and sunsets are just so awe-inspiring for me," Lewis said, as quoted by baltimoreravens.com. "Man has no input on that. You've never seen the same sunrise or sunset."

Lewis delved into photography after getting a digital camera as a Christmas gift from his mother eight years ago.

“It’s the total opposite of my everyday world,” Lewis said. “My everyday world is very loud. Photography is very quiet.”
