Ravens Bisciotti: Fair to call 2013 a failure
Bernard Pierce spent a lot of time dealing with various injuries during the 2013 season.
With his body taking a beating his production suffered with Pierce averaging 2.9 yards per carry after averaging 4.9 as a rookie in 2012.
Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that Pierce went for a second opinion on his injured right shoulder on Tuesday and he’ll likely have surgery to repair a damaged rotator cuff.
No surgery has been scheduled according to the report, but Pierce would be facing four or five months of rehab if he does in fact have the operation.
