The Ravens are considering hiring Bobby Engram for their vacant wide receivers coach position, according to the Baltimore Sun. Engram has been the wide receivers coach for the University of Pittsburgh the past two seasons.
Engram would replace former wide receivers coach Jim Hostler, who is now a senior offensive assistant with the Bills. Hostler left the Ravens staff last month, after he was a candidate to be offensive coordinator but lost out to Gary Kubiak.
Engram has been on the staff at Pittsburgh the past two seasons. He has NFL experience, as a wide receiver for 14 years with the Bears, Seahawks, and Chiefs. He was also an offensive assistant with the 49ers in 2011. During his career, Engram caught 650 passes for 7,751 yards and 35 touchdowns.
