Coach Harbaugh on whether Ed Reed will return

The Baltimore Sun reported Tuesday afternoon that the Houston Texans offered Ed Reed a three-year deal.

Aaron Wilson said on Twitter that the league sources are saying that Texans have offered Reed something in the three-year $4 million per range.

But Wilson said that Reed made $7.2 million last year and is "seeking similar."

And that opens the door to a whole lot of questions. Are the Texans coming in very low on purpose, a common strategy in contract negotiations. Or is this the kind of deal that Reed can expect to be offered from the Texans-- and maybe even the Ravens.

It will be interesting to see what the next step is from here. Reed could ask Houston for higher or turn right to the Ravens or do some kind of a mix of both. Stay tuned.
