Steelers fans should be feeling better after Sunday’s win over the Bills, except for this bit of disconcerting news: Ben Roethlisberger reportedly wants out of Pittsburgh.

NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport said Roethlisberger’s dissatisfaction with the club goes beyond the much-discussed lack of meshing with offensive coordinator Todd Haley, extending to the entire offensive coaching staff and making him “incredibly frustrated,” according to team sources. Therefore, he wants the Steelers to look at trading him after the season.

There are denials from Big Ben, his agent and the club.

"I'm a Pittsburgher — this is home,” Roethlisberger told ESPN.com. “I'm proud to raise my kids here. I don't want to play for anyone else."

Steelers president Art Rooney II issued this statement: "Contrary to erroneous reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers have not explored trading quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and have no plans to do so."

Even Rapoport said a trade isn’t necessarily going to happen, tweeting: “Could the #Steelers actually trade Big Ben? I was told no… unless they could replace him with a franchise QB. In this draft, they could.”

Given all that, where would be a likely landing place? Speculation is that the Cardinals, coached by Roethlisberger’s friend Bruce Arians, would be a strong possibility.
