Harbaugh wasn't crying after "epic" win

Wide receiver Brandon Stokley suffered a concussion Sunday according to coach John Harbaugh. Not good news for a 37-year-old player with a long history of concussions. Back in 2011, Stokley told USA Today that he had suffered more than a dozen concussions since high school. Stokley’s status for Monday’s game against the Lions remained uncertain.

“He’ll go through the concussion protocol,” Harbaugh said. “We’ll have to see how it shakes out. Unfortunately, he’s had a number of those in his career, so that could be problematic for us. We’ll have to see in the next 24 hours or so.”

Harbaugh also updated the status of linebacker Elvis Dumervil, who missed Sunday’s game with an ankle injury. “I think Elvis has a chance for next week,” Harbaugh said. “He looks pretty good today. It’s kind of a bruise in his ankle. We’ll just have to see where he’s at.”
