Starting linebackers Terrell Suggs and Dannell Ellerbe did not practice for the Ravens on Wednesday, and neither did tight end Ed Dickson.

Suggs said earlier in the day that he needed to test his right biceps injury to determine if he could play in Sunday's game at the Washington Redskins. He injured it last week and couldn’t return and it could require surgery.

"I will continue to line up at some point this season. It all depends on when it starts to get better and how much I can really do with it," Suggs said.

Dickson (knee) missed his first game of the season with a hyperextension as did Ellerbe (ankle).

Cornerback Jimmy Smith, who has been out for a month with groin surgery, had limited participation in practice along with linebacker Josh Bynes (thigh), safety James Ihedigbo (calf), cornerback Chris Johnson (hamstring), receiver Jacoby Jones (ankle) and safety Ed Reed (shoulder).

Four other Ravens were listed on the injury report: cornerback Chykie Brown (ankle), fullback Vonta Leach (ankle), defensive end Pernell McPhee (knee) and safety Bernard Pollard (ribs), but they fully participated.

McPhee came off the bench after missing four consecutive games. He only played 13 snaps in the 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.

For the Redskins, linebacker London Fletcher (ankle), cornerback DeAngelo Hall (ankle/knee) and left tackle Trent Williams (thigh) didn't practice Wednesday.
