Though Sunday’s tortuous ride of a victory over the Vikings was a proud moment for the Ravens, the behavior of some fans at M&T Bank Stadium was less so. That’s the view of Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith.

Speaking with former teammate Brendon Ayanbadejo for FoxSports.com about snowball throwing from the stands during the game, Smith said: “You definitely could see them, see snowballs flying, which is never cool. It was definitely disrespectful. …

“It was on their sideline, like saying people were throwing them at [the Vikings]. … It’s not a proud moment of our fans because we feel like we have the best fans in the league. It wasn’t all of them, but we’re better than that. We know that and we got to do better.”

As for the Ravens’ outlook, it sounds like they definitely have absorbed coach John Harbaugh’s approach, which Smith described as: “Harbs is the same, you know. Focus on the next game and we’ll see what happens.”

Which leads Smith and his teammates not to get too pleased with themselves just yet.

“There’s nothing really to be happy with because it’s not the end of the season. We still have an opportunity and we live to fight another day, and we have to focus on the next one.”
