Harbaugh one on one: "Be at our best this next week"
Adrian Peterson will be concentrating on beating the Ravens this Sunday. However, after spending his seven-year NFL career with the Vikings, Peterson admitted he has thought about playing for another team before calling it quits. Like a team from his home state of Texas, maybe the Cowboys or Texans.
“You know, I’d be a liar if I said it was something that hasn’t crossed my mind before,” Peterson said on ESPN’S “SVP and Russillo.” “But I’ve also said to myself it would be so amazing to be one of those players who stays with one team his entire career, it would be good if I could do that. “But being from Texas, I’ve always wondered, wow, it would be cool to play in Dallas, to play back home. Or to play in Houston.”
Peterson signed a seven-year, $100 million contract with the Vikings in 2011. The Vikings are not likely to send Peterson packing anytime soon. He leads the NFL in rushing (1,208 yards) heading into Sunday’s game against the Ravens.
