Ravens-Bills: 3 and Out
Wide receiver Jacoby Jones, who has not played since suffering a knee injury Week 1, will return to practice this week, according to coach John Harbaugh.
The update on Jones was part of a positive injury report. Wide receiver Deonte Thompson (concussion) was not suffering from headaches Monday, but would still go through the NFL’s concussion protocol before being allowed to practice. Linebacker Albert McClellan has a shoulder sprain that is not considered serious. Cornerback Lardarius Webb and wide receiver Marlon Brown both have strained hamstrings, but Harbaugh said neither was serious. Linebacker Arthur Brown (strained pectoral) was also expected to practice this week, after missing Sunday’s game.
Harbaugh said wide receiver Brandon Stokley thought he could play Sunday, but was scratched when he did not feel up to par during pregame warmups. Stokley hopes to make more progress this week before Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
“Brandon had a groin strain,”Harbaugh. “We thought we’d get him to the game and work him out. We thought he’d be OK.”
The Ravens have only been dressing four receivers for games, and have not had Jones, Stokley, and Thompson all healthy at the same time.
