Both Maryland football players charged with assault last week -- junior wide receiver Levern Jacobs and senior linebacker Alex Twine -- are listed on Maryland's two-deep depth chart for Saturday's season-opener against James Madison.
Jacobs is listed as a starter at wide receiver. Twine is listed as the second-string inside linebacker. The depth chart was released Monday evening.
Twine and Jacobs were both charged Thursday with second-degree assault following an incident that allegedly occurred July 19. Twine was arrested on Thursday. Jacobs received a court summons, according to public records.
Jacobs took on a starter's role for the Terrapins in 2013 following season-ending injuries to starting wideouts Stefon Diggs and Deon Long. He caught 47 passes for 640 yards last season, including three touchdowns.
Twine registered 49 tackles last season while appearing in nine games.
