Midnight Madness returns to Cole Field House
Maryland center Damonte Dodd is continuing to find his footing during his first season in College Park.
As a 6-11 big man, he has the physical gifts to be a big-time rim protector down the line for the Terrapins. So far this season, he's averaging less than a point and 1.4 rebounds per game, but had a solid showing in a win over Morgan State when he was tasked with defending 7-2 center Ian Chiles.
But there's one talent we may not have known Dodd had. The photo below was posted to Maryland Basketball's official Instagram page, showing Dodd on the drum set during the first-ever "Terps Got Talent" talent show at Maryland.
The talent show was sponsored by Maryland's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and partnered with Relay For Life to raise money for the American Cancer Society on Tuesday night at Comcast Center.
No word on whether Dodd plans to go on tour after the season.
